Abstract
Bezoars are food or fiber concretions of the alimentary tract, which i
nfrequently cause intestinal obstruction. The authors describe a case
of a 7-year-old child with pica in whom a synthetic fiber bezoar obstr
uction of the small intestine developed at the site of a previously st
