Abstract
We discuss a new technique for measuring Newton's constant G using a r otating torsion balance operated in a feedback mode. The method has se veral conceptually new features that reduce sensitivity to the dominan t systematic uncertainties of previous experiments. We have successful y conducted exploratory measurements that establish the feasibility of the new technique.
