Abstract
We discuss the data acquisition and analysis procedures used on the Al legro gravity wave detector, including a full description of the filte ring used for bursts of gravity waves. The uncertainties introduced in to timing and signal strength estimates due to stationary noise are me asured, giving the windows for both quantities in coincidence searches .
