Abstract
Different Rapid Tooling (RT) moulds cause variations of intrinsic prop erties of injection moulded prototypes. For the tooling, it is importa nt to determine how much difference occurs between the prototype from the RT-mould and the parts from the series production. The effects on cooling conditions, degree of crystallinity and bond strength are illu strated by two exemplary cases.
