Peritoneal invasion by a malignant mesothelioma is less frequently enc
ountered than pleural localization. We report a case of a double pleur
al and peritoneal localization. CT and MR may be suggestive, especiall
y when pulmonary asbestosis is associated, but pathology (fine needle
aspiration or surgical biopsy) is necessary to assess the diagnosis. W
hen possible surgery is performed, with or without associated radiothe
rapy. Prognosis is nevertheless very poor.
