Abstract
The data on the structure and functioning of the cytochrome bd complex are reviewed. Much attention is given to the ligand-binding propertie s of the enzyme. Some novel data on the interaction of cytochrome bd w ith carbon monoxide, cyanide, and hydrogen peroxide are presented.
