Abstract
Laser Doppler flowmetry makes it possible to determine the status of t he microcirculation with the aid of a non-invasive procedure. The pres ent article describes the use in two ICU patients of Doppler laser flo wmetry to effect a qualitative and quantitative evaluation of the side effects that may occur when using various stimulation procedures.
