A digital processing unit based on a weighted frame integration method
for visualizing a real-time distribution of average inspecting value
was incorporated in the Musashi dynamic image processing system. The s
ystem was applied in a neutron radiography experiment investigating tw
o phase flow. The visualization of the dynamic image of the average vo
id fraction was demonstrated using this method. A simulation experimen
t was carried out using a flat light source and semitransparent acryli
c plates with circular holes and the accuracy of the method was evalua
ted.
