Abstract
An invariant optimum for tuning the controllers of cascaded multiloop speed and position control systems is set out. Compared with conventio nal systems based on technical and symmetrical optima, invariant syste ms ensure higher control quality: higher speed of response, lower cons tant-error response and high accuracy, As a result the possibilities o f multiloop systems are expanded.
