Abstract
A Laplace equation boundary problem is reduced by means of correspondi ng addition theorems to dual series equations using Legendre polynomia ls, The dual series equations are reduced to a heterogeneous Fredholm integral equation of the second kind. Formulae are obtained for calcul ating conductor charges, The capacitance is calculated for certain con ductor dimensions, and equipotential lines are shown, (C) 1996 Elsevie r Science Ltd, All rights reserved.
