Vs. Baushev et al., STOCHASTIC, FEATURES IN THE DYNAMIC CHARACTERISTICS OF A PULSE-WIDTH CONTROLLED VOLTAGE STABILIZER, ELECTRICAL TECHNOLOGY, (1), 1996, pp. 137-150
The dynamic characteristics of a pulse-width voltage stabilizer are in
vestigated by means of a model represented by two-dimensional mapping.
The purpose of the investigation is to establish the reasons for the
appearance of chaotic dynamic characteristics. Feigenbaum one-dimensio
nal mapping is also considered. Along with the well known concept of t
he region of attraction, the concept of the inner region of attraction
is introduced. It is shown that chaotic dynamic characteristics appea
r with certain correlations between the region of attraction radii and
the value of random disturbances. Reasons for catastrophic chaos are
given, (C) 1996 Elsevier Science Ltd, All rights reserved.
