Abstract
Isothermal section of Al-Zn-Ba system at 623 K was plotted by x-ray ph ase analysis. New ternary compounds BaAl2Zn2 and BaAlZn were discovere d in the system. Zinc and BaAl4 phase are in equilibrium with aluminum solid solution. The influence of the phase composition of Al-Zn-Ba al loys on their electrochemical properties was investigated potentiodynm ically.
