Abstract
Photoelectron spectra of C-60 and C-70 were measured systematically at several photon energies to explore the partial cross section behaviou r. Strong oscillations were observed and are explained by a scattering model in which part of the photoelectron wave emitted from the deloca lized valence electrons is reflected at the center of the ball-like mo lecule. Similar but less pronounced behaviour was also observed for C- 70.
