J. Adachi et al., ANGULAR-CORRELATION BETWEEN FRAGMENT IONS FROM THE NITROGEN K-SHELL EXCITED AND IONIZED N2O, Journal of electron spectroscopy and related phenomena, 79, 1996, pp. 491-494
A newly developed angle-resolved photoion-photoion coincidence (ARPIPI
CO) measurements for the N 1s ionized and excited N2O were carried out
to obtain the correlation angle dependence of the ARPIPICO rates. The
results indicate that the bending motion in the N-c 1s --> pi excite
d state is more strongly excited than that in the N-t 1s --> pi one,
and is consistent with our calculated results that the Renner-Teller e
ffect in the N-c 1s --> pi excited state is stronger than that in the
N-t 1s --> pi one.
