Measurements of the vibrational branching ratios and photoelectron ang
ular distributions have been made in the regions of the Tanaka-Ogawa,
Lindholm and Henning series for the CO2 molecule. The behaviour of the
se parameters was found to be sensitive to which particular resonance
is excited, with considerable intensity going into vibrational modes o
ther than the symmetric st-retch. An initial analysis of some of the d
ata taken is presented.
