Abstract
Action on misconduct: An internal health and human services panel has issued proposals on how to implement a report from the Commission on R esearch Integrity (CRI) on handling scientific misconduct; the panel, however, rejected or deferred several CRI recommendations that are cau sing contention in the scientific community.
