M. Soylak et M. Dogan, SEPARATION AND ENRICHMENT OF ZINC, COPPER, IRON, CADMIUM, COBALT, ANDNICKEL FROM URINE WITH AMBERLITE XAD-16 RESIN, Trace elements in medicine, 13(3), 1996, pp. 130-132
A simple and sensitive separation and preconcentration procedure is pr
esented for the determination of zinc, iron, copper, cadmium, cobalt,
and nickel in urine at mu g/l level by graphite furnace atomic absorpt
ion spectrometry. The procedure is based on chelate formations of the
investigated metals with sodium diethyldithiocarbamate (NaDTDC) and re
covery of the chelates from the Amberlite XAD-16 column with 1 M HNO3
in acetone. The relative standard deviations (RSD)for the determinatio
ns were found to be lower than 0.07.
