MATRIX AND CONVOLUTION METHODS IN CHEMICAL-KINETICS

Two new approaches for writing kinetic equations in the matrix form or directly in the integrated form are presented here. While the first m ethod allows to derive the kinetic rate matrix of kinetic systems of a ny kind in a direct and straightforward way, the second approach appli es to species that are consumed solely through first order steps, rega rdless of the complexity of their formation pathways.
