Abstract
Airbags have gained widespread acceptance as devices that reduce the m orbidity and mortality associated with motor vehicle accidents. Recent reports of airbag-associated ocular injury suggest that further refin ement in airbag technology may be warranted. The authors describe a pa tient who had a cyclodialysis cleft and ocular hypotony following inju ry to the eye from an airbag.
