Abstract
Parameters of a gas microstrip detector built on the basis of ILL-6C p late are studied. A gas gain of 2 x 10(4) and energy resolution of 18% are achieved. A spatial resolution of similar to 500 mu m (FWHM) is o btained using a delay line for a readout of the second coordinate of a particle.
