Abstract
Light output in magnetic fields (up to 5 T) was measured for three typ es of plastic scintillators with Co-60 and Ru-106 radiation sources. A s the magnetic induction increased to 2.5 T, the light output rose to similar to 15%. Further increases in induction resulted in the saturat ion of light output and its slight decrease.
