Combined hereditary deficiency of coagulation factors V and VIII is a very rare bleeding disorder, The severity; of bleeding is determined b y the level of these factors, although in general, this is less striki ng than the severe deficiency of either factor alone, We describe in t his article a patient with this congenital defect, and the preoperativ e management for major surgery.
