Abstract
This paper presents a short tutorial covering the use of modern wavefo rm reconstruction techniques in digital power system simulator applica tions. Special emphasis is given to the requirements related to open- and closed-loop testing of protective relays and the possibility of us ing existing standards regulating digital audio applications.
