Abstract
-2,5-disila-1-cyclopentyl)methyl]-2,2'-bithiophene crystallizes in the monoclinic system with space group P2(1)/c. Because of the presence o f the bulky terminal groups of 2,5,5-tetramethyl-1-aza-2,5-disila-1-cy clo-pentyl, the compound shows unique crystallographic features compar ed with previously reported bithiophene and its derivatives.
