Abstract
Polyaniline was possibly doped with cresol-sulfonic acid, though it fa iled to electrodeposit the polymer from solutions of aniline in cresol -sulfonic acid. The presence of cresol-sulfonate anions changed the re dox peaks of the polymer in their positions and heights. Catalytic oxi dation of cresol-sulfonic acid was observed on polyaniline-filmed elec trodes at potentials of a limited interval.
