Abstract
Perfluoropropylation of poly(p-phenylene) (PPP) was carried out with t he intention of obtaining soluble PPP derivatives. The resulting polym ers were characterized by UV/vis and IR spectroscopy. An electrolumine scent device emitting blue-green light depending on the bias voltage w as fabricated from this polymer.
