Abstract
Bis(2,4,-pentanedionate)TiO and TiO2 enhanced markedly the activity of the EuCl3-Zn-0-CF3CO2H-catalytic system for the CH, oxidation to MeOH with O-2 at 40 degrees C. It is suggested that Ti(II) species generat ed from Ti(TV) by the reduction with Zn-0 and CF3CO2H is responsible f or this enhancement.
