Abstract
The propagation of acoustic waves in austenitic weld metal and fiber c omposites is investigated. The results of the investigation include, f or example, the echodynamic curves of standard transducers, and a comp arison is made with experimental results. In addition, wavefront image s obtained in successive time intervals are given, graphically illustr ating the modeling of time-dependent rf signals.
