Abstract
This paper is devoted to the topic of numerical modeling of magnetic l eakage fields from internal and surface inhomogeneities in a ferromagn et. The solution is constructed on the basis of the method of boundary integral equations relative to the magnetic charge density distributi on (only the linear formulation of the problem is considered). We inve stigate the characteristics of the magnetic charge distribution and th e leakage fields for some characteristic shapes of defects on the boun dary of the region of stability of the considered problem.
