Abstract
It is shown that the problem of determining the diameter and depth of the reinforcement in reinforced concrete structures can be solved by u sing unidimensional inductance pickups. The article presents a design of a unit that includes such a transducer as the sensitive element. Th e theoretical results that are obtained are substantiated in an exampl e of the practical use of the proposed instrument for solving the give n problem. The dependence of the output signal on the diameter of the reinforcement is obtained experimentally.
