Abstract
Wide-band electrooptic intensity modulation at a wavelength of 1.3 mu m has been demonstrated in single mode channel waveguides in SBN:60 wi thout repoling the substrates after processing at elevated temperature s. Waveguide losses were less than or equal to 0.7 dB/cm for both pola rizations.
