EXTENSIONS OF COLORING MODELS FOR SCHEDULING PURPOSES

Some extensions and variations of basic chromatic scheduling models ha ve been motivated by applications in automated production systems and in course timetabling. Although the contexts are very different, it tu rns out that basic models are very similar. These will be presented an d we will show how to handle various types of requirements which are c ommon to production scheduling and to timetabling.
