Aa. Kolyshkin et R. Vaillancourt, DOUBLE CONDUCTOR LINE ABOVE A 2-LAYERED CYLINDER WITH VARYING PROPERTIES, Journal of the Australian Mathematical Society. Series B. Applied mathematics, 38, 1996, pp. 1-15
The change of impedance per unit length in a single or double conducto
r line situated parallel to an infinitely long two-layered metallic ci
rcular cylinder is found (within the quasistatic approximation) in the
form of an infinite series. The cylinder consists of an inner core an
d an outer annulus. The properties of the inner core are assumed to be
constant. The relative magnetic permeability, mu(r) = r(alpha), and t
he conductivity, sigma(r) = sigma((0))r(kappa), of the outer annulus v
ary with respect to the radial coordinate, r, and alpha and kappa are
arbitrary real numbers. Numerical results are presented in the form of
figures and tables.
