Abstract
The Revised NEO Personality Inventory (NEO-PI-R) is a contemporary mea sure of 30 traits that define the five basic factors of normal persona lity. In both research and applied samples it has shown evidence of re liability and validity, and several studies suggest that it has utilit y in the prediction of job performance. The domain and facet features of the NEO-PI-R are discussed along with some issues in its use in ind ustrial/organisational psychology.
