Abstract
The aim of this work was the development of the direct quantitative an alysis of singlet molecular oxygen ((1) Delta(g)) in water (H2O) throu gh its near-infrared emission at 1270 nm. For this purpose a detection system consisting of an InGaAs diode and appropriate pre-amplificatio n based on the phase-sensitive detection (PSD) technique has been buil t. Preliminary results are presented.
