Abstract
The paper describes hierarchical morphological multicriteria design (H MMD) of decomposable systems. HMMD consists of an hierarchical model f or the designed system, design alternatives (DAs) for system component s, interconnection (Is) among DAs, estimates of DAs and Is, and compos ite DAs. An hierarchical composition of composite DAs from the best DA s at the lower hierarchical level is the key problem of HMMD. Ordinal Is are used. The composition process is based on a morphological cliqu e problem. An example demonstrates the design and improvement.
