We study the effect of Landau level mixing on the energy positions of
2D delocalized states in a magnetic field. We show that a weak mixing
can be incorporated into the Chalker-Coddington moder by renormalizati
on of parameters of the saddle-points. We demonstrate that after avera
ging over saddle-points, such a renormalization leads to floating of d
elocalized states upwards from the centers oi Landau bands.
