Abstract
The total synthesis of spho)-4(6)-O-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-sn-myo-inosi tol was performed. The major stages of the synthetic route are glycosy lation of the substituted myo-inositol derivative by the glycosyl fluo ride method and creation of the phosphorus moiety of the target glycol ipid by means of the H-phosphonate technique.
