Abstract
In a recent paper by Elson and Tran [J. Opt. Sec. Am. A 12, 1765 (1995 )], numerical results are given and compared with those obtained by Li [J. Opt. Sec. Am. A 10, 2581 (1993)]. Some strong discrepancies appea r in these comparisons, especially in TM polarization. Accurate and re liable data are given to clarify this disagreement. (C) 1996 Optical S ociety of America.
