Abstract
The reaction of [W(C=CC=CH)(CO)(3)(cp)] with [Ru-3{mu(3)-HC2C=C[W(CO)( 3)(cp)]}(mu-CO)(CO)(9)] (cp=eta-C5H5) afforded an unusual WRu3 cluster bearing a ligand formed by dimerisation of the diynyl ligand with inc orporation of two molecules of CO, as shown by a crystal-structure det ermination.
