K. Kanj et al., ORTHOGONAL SHORT CODES FOR CODE-DIVISION MULTIPLE-ACCESS NETWORKS, European transactions on telecommunications, 7(4), 1996, pp. 297-304
Short codes are known to hale better balance and spectral characterist
ics than their long counterparts. In this work we show by simulations
that for certain users loads their bit error performance are excellent
. A CDMA network performance is investigated under different load and
fading situations. We also investigate the effects of using orthogonal
codewords in conjunction with concatenated short codes to further red
uce the multi-user interference in these networks.
