Abstract
It is shown that for large optical modulation depth and relatively lar ge optical feedback, numerically calculated distortion in directly mod ulated semiconductor lasers is in better agreement with experimental r esults than small-signal analytical results. (C) 1996 John Wiley & Son s, Inc.
