J. Cabaret, THE HOMEOPATHIC CINA DOES NOT REDUCE THE EGG OUTPUT OF DIGESTIVE-TRACT NEMATODES IN LAMBS, Revue de Medecine Veterinaire, 147(6), 1996, pp. 445-446
The aim of present work was to determine whether the homeopathic Cina
(Artemisia cina) was able to reduce the egg output of digestive-tract
nematodes in lambs. No significant differences were found between trea
ted (at the 15 CH dilution) and control lambs with a mixed natural inf
ection (Teladorsagia, Trichostrongylus, Haemonchus, Chabertia and Oeso
phagostomum). No significant differences were found in experimentally
infected lambs (Trichostrongylus vitrinus, Teladorsagia circumcincta,
Chabertia ovina or Nematodirus filicollis) before and after treatment
with Cina at the 9 CH dilution. The use of Cina is not an alternative
to classical anthelmintic control in our conditions of moderate infect
ions.
