Abstract
Bis(eta(5)-cyclopentadienyl)tungstendihydride reacts with iPr(2)BCl, B Cl3 or BF3 to give the salt-like compounds [Cp(2)WH(3)]iPr(2)BCl(2) (1 a), [Cp(2)WH(3)]BCl4 (b), and [Cp(2)WH(3)]BF4 (c) with a bis(eta(5)-cy clopentadienyl)trihydridotungsten cation and a borate anion. Compound 1a crystallizes in the space group P2(1)/n.
