Abstract
A neptunium(V) peroxo complex is formed upon gamma-radiolysis of aerat ed aqueous alkaline solutions of Np(VI) or Np(V) ions containing nitra te; however, a Pu(V) peroxo complex is not formed under the same condi tions.
