Jw. Schuster et Rj. Luebbers, FINITE-DIFFERENCE TIME-DOMAIN ANALYSIS OF ARBITRARILY BIASED MAGNETIZED FERRITES, Radio science, 31(4), 1996, pp. 923-929
The finite difference time domain method is extended to include three-
dimensional propagation in a saturated magnetized ferrite with an arbi
trary direction of the biasing field. The recursive convolution method
is used to include the frequency dependence of the ferrite. Both tota
l and scattered field formulations are developed. This approach requir
es the additional storage of at most three complex numbers per cell. T
ransient scattering in two and three dimensions is used to demonstrate
the accuracy of this approach.
