Abstract
Evolution of a finely divided powder of titanium dioxide formed on oxi dation of titanium particles in a stream of air plasma is studied expe rimentally. The mathematical model of coagulative formation of finely dispersed particles in a plasma stream, based on the method of moments , is used to study the process numerically. A satisfactory agreement b etween the experimental and calculated data is obtained.
