Abstract
The title compound 3 reacted with soft nucleophiles to give eta(4)-com plex 4 as the only product, but in the case of hard nucleophiles, the sigma,eta(3)-complex 5 was also obtained. Synthetic applications of th e addition products were also studied. Copyright (C) 1996 Elsevier Sci ence Ltd
