Abstract
In the paper a study about the correlation existing between the P. Chr ysogenum mycelium concentration - flow behaviour of suspension - the o xygen amount dissolved in the fermentation broth, is reported. The obt ained results evidenced a strong non-Newtonian behaviour of plastic Bi ngham type, for mycelium concentration over 5 g/l, the relationship be tween the yield stress and P. Chrysogenum concentration being: t(o) = 0,21 . C-x The influence of the temperature on the apparent viscosity was studied too.
