Abstract
The design, manufacture and works testing of single coils has been rep orted at ASC, Chicago 1992 [1] and EPAC, London 1994 [2]. The assembly , commissioning and testing of the full six-cell toroidal spectrometer magnet is described and the results compared with guaranteed or expec ted values. The SURA contract number for this project is 91-C1882LD.
